Business Development Executive Brings Extensive Expertise in Driving Strategic Partnerships, Business Scalability and Market Expansion
BOULDER, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Stateless, Inc., the company reinventing network connectivity, today announced that it has named Erik Bovee to its executive team as Vice President Business Development. Bovee will focus on driving major strategic and channel partnerships with networking technology innovators, scaling the company’s go-to-market capabilities, and accelerating the penetration of new market segments, including enterprise, telecommunications and cloud service providers, for Stateless’ Luxon platform. Prior to his executive appointment at Stateless, Bovee served on Stateless’ advisory board and was the founder and general partner at Speedinvest, a Stateless investor.
“Networking is entering an exciting period of transformation; the emergence of new technologies combined with increased end user expectations signals a new wave of evolution. It will take both skill and wisdom to reimagine what networking can be,” said Murad Kablan, Stateless CEO. “Erik has been a great asset to our team from the moment he invested in Stateless and joined our board. His strategic insight, business acumen and experience will accelerate our ability to deliver unrivaled market opportunities for providers and end users.”
Bovee has held several executive roles within the technology arena, including sales, business development and product management. He propelled Speedinvest, a $300 million early stage fund, to become Austria’s largest VC/private equity fund and helped drive the development of Central Europe’s digital ecosystem. Taking a leading operational role in Speedinvest portfolio companies, Bovee helped to scale multiple startup companies within the telecommunications, digital security, geo-location and enterprise software sectors. Prior to Speedinvest, he was a partner at TheMerger, a boutique M&A firm, where he directed U.S. operations and assisted EU technology startups with M&A, fundraising and business development.
“Stateless’ software-defined interconnect (SD-IX) platform represents a leap forward in network technology and places the company in an enviable position within the fast-paced networking evolution occurring within the industry,” said Bovee. “Stateless’ advancements come at a time when the market needs solutions to address the opportunities and challenges of ubiquitous cloud services, edge computing, converged infrastructure and 5G, all of which are placing increased pressure on traditional networks. Having spent my career helping cutting-edge technological innovators scale, I am excited to join the Stateless team and assist in building a thriving customer-centric, value-driven business.”
Stateless has developed the industry’s first SD-IX platform, Luxon, which gives enterprises, cloud, data center and network providers the ability to easily move data between edge locations, data centers, tenant sites and hyperscale clouds. Stateless’ SD-IX platform incorporates the modern software techniques that have advanced cloud computing and is fundamentally changing how network functions are built. With a novel approach that makes networking simple, evolvable and extensible, Stateless is securely exposing more of the power of the network to the end users and is allowing for the creation of new services, products and capabilities.
Stateless is reinventing connectivity. We are dedicated to relentlessly solving the network challenges others deem impossible. The revolutionary Stateless platform gives users the power to optimize existing network assets to control and connect every endpoint, including portfolio data centers, tenant sites and hyperscale clouds.
